The BCHPA Education Committee is offering this course on Thursday, October 23, the day before the Salmon Arm AGM. Course participants will be given curriculum requirements, lesson aids and instruction on teaching techniques, followed by a qualifying exam. A minimum enrolment of 15 students is required and the BCHPA reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course if minimum enrolment is not met. The course is a full day from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and will your registration will include coffee breaks and lunch.
Course Pre-requisites:
• Students must be a BCHPA member in good standing.• Must be presently operating at least 10 colonies and have kept honey bees continuously for a minimum of 5 years. • Must have successfully completed (70%) the BCHPA Tech Transfer's Online Instructors Prep Course or a qualifying alternative.
